The Intelligent Machines and Robotics (IMR) Research Group is part of the Department of Computer Science, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Lahore Campus.
We are currently interested in doing research related to Robotics, Computer Vision and Machine Learning Presently robotics technology in Pakistan is relatively primitive, its potential role in boosting the productivity and competitiveness of country's economy can be foreseen in the evolving global marketplace.
The IMR Research Group is established to conduct basic and applied research in robotics technologies relevant to industrial and societal tasks. Seeking to combine the practical and the theoretical, the Intelligent Machines and Robotics Research Group has diversified its efforts and approaches to robotics science while retaining its original goal of realizing the potential of the robotics field.
